The Colin Apps Memorial Grant is a grant for a stay which is funded and awarded by the Sargood Foundation to provide a break at Sargood on Collaroy for a person who has experienced a spinal cord injury (SCI) over the age of 65 and their family member, friend or attendant care worker.
Applications are now closed for this grant. Next grant round opens August 2021.
Colin Apps was a local resident who lived with spinal cord injury and who lead the fight against developers to retain the land on which Sargood on Collaroy is built as a unique place of healing. His drive and vision facilitated the creation of Australia’s, and possibly the world’s, first purpose-built resort for people with SCI.

Applications can be made via the booking form on the Sargood on Collaroy website from August 2021
