Nick Taylor

Nick Taylor’s life reflects determination, resilience and excellence. After a car accident left him paraplegic at 18, Nick rebuilt his path returning to elite sport and representing both South Africa and later Australia in wheelchair basketball. A Paralympic silver medallist and World Champion, Nick has also built a successful corporate career while raising a young family. His journey is a powerful example of what is possible with the right support, mindset and opportunity. As an Ambassador, Nick is passionate about helping others with spinal cord injury regain independence and challenge perceptions within the broader community. His energy and commitment align strongly with the Sargood Foundation’s mission to create opportunity, inclusion and lasting change.
