Heidi Haydon

Heidi Haydon’s journey is one of courage, determination and rediscovery. Following a motorbike accident in 2009 that left her a T4 paraplegic, Heidi faced a long and emotional path back to independence. With the support of her family, she spent months rebuilding her confidence, learning new ways to navigate the world and ultimately reclaiming her independence. Today, she continues to embrace life fully- travelling, reconnecting with her passions and inspiring others along the way. Heidi believes deeply in the role Sargood on Collaroy plays in helping people rediscover themselves after injury. She values the sense of acceptance, understanding and possibility that defines the community. As an Ambassador since 2015, Heidi is a passionate advocate for the Foundation, particularly in supporting those facing financial hardship through its emergency funding programs.
