Rod Macqueen AM

Rod Macqueen AM is a respected leader, mentor and innovator whose influence spans sport, business and community. Best known as the former Head Coach of the Australian Wallabies, Rod led the team to global success, including victory at the Rugby World Cup, the Tri-Nations Series and the British & Irish Lions Series. Rod is also a life member of Collaroy Surf Life Saving Club. Beyond sport, Rod built a successful career as Founder and Chairman of Advantage Line, a leading point-of-sale advertising company, and was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in 2003. As Vice Patron, Rod brings his leadership, vision and deep sense of community to the Sargood Foundation. He recognises the significance of Sargood on Collaroy as a place of healing, connection and renewal—continuing a long-standing Collaroy tradition of care and community. Rod’s commitment reflects his belief in creating environments where people can thrive, rebuild confidence and embrace new possibilities.
